Karim is a native of Macon, Ga. who picked up the game of golf at the age of nine years old at the historic Bowden Golf Club in Macon. As a young boy Karim worked tirelessly to improve his skills to the point of being able to compete with some of the top junior golfers in the nation. With his determination and skill, Karim was able to secure a full ride scholarship to LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tn. While Karim was at LeMoyne-Owen he played for three years starting his sophomore year. During his time there, Karim won three times individually, earned 2nd team All-conference in 2017, and SIAC All-tournament team in 2018. He also led the team to making school history by helping secure their first team victory ever by seven shots with Karim winning individually by three. Recently, Karim graduated from LeMoyne-Owen with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Magna Cum Laude, and with distinction from the faculty because of his involvement on campus and success in the classroom.
